A Million Little Pictures

It's a little known fact that Memphis is big on pictures. Everyone is looking to take some high quality pics for their site, event or just personal use. If you're one of those people, you may have heard of a quirky man by the name of Ziggy aka Ziggy Matters. Ziggy has been a nightlife photographer for 4 years now and is slowly, but surely, venturing out to make a bigger name for himself in the professional world.

Now I am no expert, but I have yet to see quality pictures such as Ziggy's. Maybe there are better photographers in Memphis, but I have yet to see them.

I'm not sure a picture of a diver always looks this awesome, but I do know that this picture is top notch. See other pictures here

Ziggy has taken several photo shoots for several small companies in Memphis, shot events (such as rallies and concerts), and has the type of personality that makes all the stress of taking a photo shoot melt away.

Trolley Stop Market

If you were to ask my friends and family what my biggest passions are...they would likely tell you music, comic books, and FOOD!!! To be so skinny, I am big on food. I am basically a food fanatic. I eat anything and everything (so long as it doesn't have raw onions), so I would like to think my "food credibility" is in order.

One of the greatest food accomplishments I've come across in Memphis to this date is Trolley Stop Market. It is a local farmer owned restaurant that serves some of the best burgers that I have ever tasted in Memphis. Furthermore, I am not that big on potato salad, but TSM has me wolfing theirs down by the dozens.

The breakfast there exemplary, you can choose from their breakfast plates or make your own breakfast burrito or pizza (all with the freshest of toppings/ingredients). I always make myself an awesome breakfast burrito filled with whatever random assortment of foods I prefer to toss in it.

Their pizza also comes in the largest slices that I have ever seen in Memphis thus far. They are literally the size and width of a small welcome mat and it's entirely delicious. With their fresh veggies and meats, it makes any pizza you bite into taste exactly like Nirvana (if nirvana were made out of meat and banana peppers).

The final item I've had on their menu thus far (so good I've had it 3 times) is the grilled chicken wrap. I've had a grilled chicken wrap before, but I'm convinced I've never really had GOOD grilled chicken wrap before. It's mind blowing how awesome this wrap is...I sincerely mean that I am so happy to be alive every time I take a bite.

If you haven't yet visited Trolley Stop Market, treat yourself one day. It will be worth it.

Cities Aviv

Not into the local music scene in Memphis...you are missing out on some great music. You would think that a city known for blues and good music would pay more attention to its local artists.

Cities Aviv is an uncovered gem that has been circulating around Memphis for a while now. Already receiving great reviews in pitchfork, which is no small feat, he is sure to win you over with songs and videos like Float.
